Liverpool Performing Arts Ensemble presents a community theatre production of David Williamson’s Don’s Party.
It's the night of the elections and Don is throwing a party. Confessing to his wife Kath, that he has a vested interest in politics, Don invites a group of mismatched guests including his close mates, not so close mates and his wife's mates to his house for a night of political conversation in the hope of change and reform. The only problem is, Don's friends don't really seem to be there for the politics. The conversations on the night seem to be more associated with sex, tensions and those trying one last time to relive their lost youth.
With all the commotion and one liners, you can be sure that Don's Party you will leave in stitches.
