Christine’s debut performance was as Dorothy, the lead in the classic musical The Wizard of Oz.It was a smashing success, and ran for approximately 6 months . . . albeit, she was only 4 years old, the stage was the family lounge room, and the supporting cast consisted of her younger (and back then, much more subservient) brother as Toto!Christine’s next musical performance came many years later, when she played a total of 4 roles in her school’s production of Annie . . . none of which involved singing!Christine took the hint, and has since avoided musicals . . .
Not one to shy away from the stage, however, Christine has performed in a number of university plays, skit shows, theatresports, and more recently, the LPAE productions of Cosi, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and A Murder Is Announced.Christine’s sure they’ll get sick of her eventually but for the meantime, she’s delighted to have been invited to Don’s Party, and is having ablast!
